“Nemesis @ Apollo’s Gate”... by Spiros Gratsias, Unique Original Hand-Drawn Ink on Paper, 58 x 42 cm

€800.00

In the intricate ink drawing titled "Retribution's Reflection: Nemesis at Apollo's Gate," Nemesis, embodied as an olive tree, stands poised at the entrance of the Temple of Apollo in Naxos. Her arboreal form, meticulously rendered in ink, radiates a unique blend of strength and grace. The play of light and shadow on her leafy branches creates a compelling contrast, symbolizing the duality of her role as both a force of retribution and a guardian of equilibrium. With a thoughtful gaze directed towards the temple's sanctum, the ink strokes capture her eternal vigilance. The composition weaves together the timeless grandeur of the temple's architecture and the organic elegance of Nemesis, embodying her essence as a keeper of balance and an enigmatic sentinel at the threshold of Apollo's domain.
